Release My Soul

I have put the lights out,
Shutting myself from the world,
Shutting the world from me.
It’s all silent,
Complete silence engulfs me,
Iam chanting the rosary,
That I had joined together by the string of trust.
In the distance,
Is flickering the yellow candle,
That you had ignited, when you were here,
Your presence being omnipresent.
Iam visited by a dreadful vision,
The waves are crashing in the sea,
It is drop dead silent in the night,
Iam visited by a horror,
The master creation of my own inner fear.
I feel Iam being lifted in the sky,
And then tossed pitifully down.
My vision is blurring,
Words are escaping my mouth,
As if Iam blabbering in a trance,
Though my vision is but spiteful,
I have recollections of your image,
Iam almost there,
I can see you,
Touch you, feel you,
See those expressions,
That have kept me captive,
Crying for you in pain,
The key to my soul.
I beg you to free me,
From the chains you have laid,
Separating us …
Suddenly, Iam being pushed away,
The distance increasing,
As if Iam a useless commodity,
Iam treading on time,
Haunted every second with a fear,
More fearceful than the last I had witnessed in time.
My hands are bleeding,
But still holding on the rosary,
Clutching it hard,
The one that I had made of your faith,
That you had instilled in me,
Waiting for you to come and release me,
Saving the candle from being exhausted,
Before you come and extinguish it yourself.

Sir this is the best poem I have written till date. I want to submit this poem, for publication. It is my sincere request that you go through it and let me know if this needs any kind of grammatical or change in form. I have also submitted a copy of it Indira Ma’am. I want you to help me do the needful.
